Heidi attended the University of Waterloo (1987 - 1991) and graduated with an Honours Degree in Psychology and Legal Studies. She thereafter attended Queen's University Faculty of Law (1991 - 1994), and was called to the Bar in 1996. She practiced at two local firms before establishing her own firm in Gananoque in 1999.
In 2006 Heidi Bergeron purchased an office building at 173 Garden Street in Gananoque, Ontario. Heidi now employs an associate lawyer, Jill Addison, and 3 law clerks to complement her practice.
Heidi lives in Kingston with her husband and children.
